     Hello, my name is Howard Humphrey.  I have lived Florence County South Carolina, all my life.  I was raised in church but fell away from the Lord around the age of 16.  My Parents and grandparents covered me with prayer and finally, after 11 years, at age 27,  I surrendered to the Lord.  The next four years of my life, I was completely submerged in the Word and developing my relationship with my Heavenly Father.  In June of 1991, I had my first date with the love of my life and in October we married.  Our family today has two sons, a daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren. Shortly  after Michelle and I married in 1991, we both got involved in the music program at Palmetto Street Church of God.  She was on keys and I joined the choir. It was there that I sang my first duet, and then began having solos.  I sang on the Praise team for PSCOG as a tenor for about 21 years.  I transitioned from the Praise team to a southern gospel group called Palmetto Street Praise as lead/tenor for 7 years.  After a short break  from singing and traveling I joined Beulah land QT out of Lexington, SC.  I sang lead/baritone for the next three years, until the group retired.

            I love to sing for the Lord, it brings great joy to my soul.  I am looking forward to this new opportunity to sing with The Horrell Family.
