     I started singing at an early age, my Dad was an evangelist and we traveled from church to church singing at revivals. I knew in my heart that I wanted to sing for the Lord. As a young girl I gave my heart to God; but as time went on  I grew up and strayed away from what my dad and mom taught me.  After getting married to my  husband,  Wade "Bill" Horrell  I didn't attend church and started singing with different bands around the country for about fifteen years.  I never forgot what I had learned in church and what my parents had taught me. By the time I was in my thirties I found myself at an altar in a little country church and gave my life back to the Lord. I never once stopped singing but the words to the songs were much different now.  I knew there was a calling on my life and it was singing Gospel music.  I started singing with different groups over the years. Later on I traveled with my family group, The Jenkins Family, nine years and now manager and alto singer for The Horrell Family.  We love all the people that we sing to and give God all the glory.
